Well hello there!

Here’s a little about me…

I live in a wee place called Glass in Aberdeenshire with my two amazing boys. Just us, a compact wee family. It’s tough being a lone parent at times but they sure make me laugh and keep me going! My youngest is always getting me to help him with his latest Lego invention and my eldest boy keeps me entertained with his coding projects and Roblox chatter!

I am currently studying to be a Primary Teacher  – finally realising my life-long dream! From running the local toddler group, to volunteering at the local school teaching photography, I have always been passionate about children’s education. Probably stemming from my obsession with playing schoolies as a child. Every school holiday, I would be found setting up a “school” to teach my sisters!

I learned to play the fiddle when I was 14 and still take a tune when I have a bit of spare time. I would love to be able to play like Duncan Chisholm one day. I’m trying to persuade my boys to take up an instrument too but so far no luck. They both have amazing long fingers that would be perfect for the bagpipes. Someday!

We love walks on the beach. Spey Bay is one of our all time favourite places to go. Still haven’t seen a dolphin though – they sure are elusive wee creatures.

I LOVE rugby and used to go to matches at Murrayfield with my long-time school friends. My dream is that my wee boy will play for Scotland someday. A wee while to go yet as he has just started his rugby journey but we’ll get there maybe!

Photography for me is all about capturing real moments and real emotions. 

I offer photography services in the Aberdeenshire and Moray area. I am ideally located for Huntly, Dufftown and Keith but I’m always willing to travel.
